They went on a very long journey, over land and sea, to reach Carolyn's home. It was such a long journey, they even crossed from the northern hemisphere into the southern! They watched the landscape change from snow-covered fields to sunshine-filled banana plantations.
They drove through the African plains and dodged potholes on bumpy, red roads. They inhaled dust as they went and were covered in a fine layer of sweat and grime at all times.
They met friends that are actually more like family.
They observed how some people worshiped in this foreign land.
They hiked up mountains.

And they stood under waterfalls.
And while "happily ever after" is reserved for works of fiction, it's safe to say that this trip was one for the books!
